Delete your Klyp account

You can ask us to delete your Klyp account and the data linked to it at any time. This works the same for the website (klyp-app.com) and the Klyp app on Google Play.

In the app

Open You, then Settings, then Delete account, and confirm. You are signed out on every phone straight away, and your account is deleted 7 days later. Changed your mind? Sign in again before then and tap Keep my account.

If you can't sign in

1. Email info@klyp-app.com with the subject line Account deletion.
2. Tell us how to find your account: your @handle, and the phone number or Google email you sign in with.
3. We delete your account within 7 days and reply to confirm when it is done. If we cannot tell which account is yours, we will write back and ask.

What we delete

• Your profile: name, @handle, bio, photo and class or section. Your @handle stops pointing to you, and it is never given to anyone else, so an old link can't lead to a stranger.
• Your sign-in details: phone number, and your Google or Apple account link.
• Your play history, scores, streaks and coins, including any History you chose to keep on your account.
• Your messages, comments and confessions. Messages friends sent you stay in their chats.
• The apps you made and published, and the ideas you typed into the Studio.
• Your notification subscription.

What may remain

Totals that no longer point to you, such as how many times a game was played or coins given out. Reports you made about other people's content, without your name. If someone else's phone once signed in with your number, that phone keeps its own record of it. Copies of data that the services listed in our Privacy Policy keep under their own rules, such as Meta's ad measurement. Anything the law requires us to keep, only for as long as it requires.
