How to play
- Tap a card to flip it, then tap a second. A match stays open; a miss flips both back.
- Remember what you saw. The misses are where the information is.
- Clear all eight pairs. Fewer moves is a better score.
- The trick: flip in a fixed pattern early instead of jumping around. A steady sweep builds the map in your head twice as fast.
When to play this
Memory Match is the between-things game: a queue, a lecture gap, the minutes before food arrives. It is quiet, it needs no sound, and a clean low-move clear is weirdly satisfying to screenshot at somebody who claims they have the better memory.
Questions people ask
Do I need to download anything?No. It runs in your browser, on any phone.
Is a lower score better?Yes. The score is your move count, so fewer moves wins. A perfect game is 16 moves.
Can two people play?Take turns on one phone and compare move counts, or share your result as a challenge link.
Does it work offline?Once it has loaded, a patchy connection is fine. It is a small game by design.
